Reason to start The Challenge

After i did my acl i kind of slacked off in training, i didnt train as much and didnt really care about physical appearance. I eventually had the surgery and started to get back in shape but then my other acl gave way. So now i have one knee with acl( after surgery) and another knee with no acl. I honestly want to see how far i can go and be motivated to get back in shape that i used to be.

What did you like most about The Challenge?

To be honest I liked everything about the challenge, it had a great balance of food/nutrition and a great workout plan that touched a lot of different muscle parts of the body that you usually wouldn’t notice.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

The hardest thing for me was being disciplined with the diet and not going out drinking and knowing that a night out will affect all the hard work you have done. Also i had to be a bit cautious with my knees as well, as they are very weak but the challange improved them and made them stronger day by day.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

It has changed me in a way that I now monitor when I eat , what I eat, what I drink and most importantly how my body works and reacts. It has had a great impact to disciplining me in my diet and training and not being too reckless. The challenge has had nothing but great positive impact. Life changing!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

If I can do it anyone can and it is the honest truth. If you know my lifestyle, always out drinking, eating out, not eating on time, not caring what I eat to drop it all and follow a strict diet plan, I would have never thought I would do it. Honestly after a while it became fun and exciting, started looking forward to eating healthy and looking forward to training. It just became a good balanced routine because I started feeling Great.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

It was great positive challenge. I had a few obstacles during the challenge but I still found the time to make it to the gym and eat the right food. I think it’s that power and mentality that we have to really stick to it and not give up. If you say I can’t or it is too hard then yes you will have a negative impact and negative mindset, but if you overcome it all by saying No I can do it then all of the sudden everything becomes so easy and so achievable.
