"The biggest impact it's had in my life is realising life is too short! I use to waste time sleeping and thinking I could do things at a later stage. Now I have more energy and motivation I want to spend quality time with my family and be productive in everyday life!"

Reason to start The Challenge

I use to be fit and attend the gym regularly and play sports. Work seems to have taken over and with any 'spare time' I would rather spend it with my wife and kids. I think now is the time to look after myself and get back into shape!

What did you like most about The Challenge?

Having a reason to train hard again. I use to play footy and was training hard at the gym but work took over. I guess also having children and being in a comfortable marriage I didn't find reason to dedicate myself to the gym as I'm not trying to impress anyone.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

I'm a self employed Dairy Farmer, so the hardest thing I found was time management and trying to find a happy medium. With 4.30am starts and sometimes not getting home until 8pm the last thing I felt like doing was going to the gym and thinking about eating properly!

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

The biggest impact it's had in my life is realising life is too short! I use to waste time sleeping and thinking I could do things at a later stage. Now I have more energy and motivation I want to spend quality time with my family and be productive in everyday life!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

DO IT! Commit and stay focused from day 1. Set your goals and don't make excuses! At the end you will have no regrets just amazing results!

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I need to thank my wife, Jade. We actually did the challenge together, but without her support and help I wouldn't have achieved half my results without her. Her dedication to me with meal preparation and cooking will not be forgotten! Thank you!
