Reason to start The Challenge

I started work full time this year, with it being harder and harder to stay in great shape. I want to shred away the fat I’ve put on since January and look great for summer!

What did you like most about The Challenge?

I liked how easy the challenge was to follow, with there being easily accessible PDF's to download outlining your weekly meal plans and gym exercises. The resources which supplemented these 2 documents were also fantastic, these being, videos on how to perform the exercises as well as an online forum where you could ask questions about parts of the program which you were unsure about.

The challenge approved food table was also extremely helpful in providing guidance on what foods I was needing to limit or stay away from all together.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

I undertook the advanced training program which required training 6-7 days a week. This was quiet burdensome on my ability to socialise as I work full-time and required me to be very organised and plan ahead on when I could train. My girlfriend lives in Melbourne (I'm from Canberra) so every time I saw her I had to go to her gym to train as I couldn't take any days off.

In terms of diet and overall weight loss, it was difficult to have 100% faith in the program and trust that it would deliver the results that I wanted. Before the program I avoided eating nuts and too much fruit (high calories) however, I convinced myself that I just had to enjoy the journey and stop questioning the program. It works, so don't doubt it!

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

The challenge has been life changing. There is so much information out there on how to build muscle as well as loose fat that it was overwhelming for me and difficult to trust online programs or diets. This program actually delivers real and noticeable results and is reasonably priced.

After completing the program, I have a lot more of a holistic view on how to maintain a balanced diet and also the necessity to undertake regular cardio and not just muscular strength exercises. Prior to the program I didn't do any cardio, which in retrospect reflected my lack of understanding towards being healthy and trying to develop a toned physique.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

The challenge provides you with the best available resources and information to become the best version of yourself. The program works if you stay committed and follow it. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking to loose weight.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I put my blood, sweat and tears into this program and am so glad that a colleague from work recommended that I enrol in a challenge. The challenge works and will give you results, you just have to trust the program!

    The first 2 weeks of this program is definitely taking its toll. I’ve never done cardio before in the gym because I thought if I ate clean I wouldn’t need to do it. I know I just gotta keep following the program and trust it will work.
