I've seen a lot of wonderful transformations through Max's challenge and it's really inspired me to give the challenge a go. So I just want to build the best version of myself over the next 12 weeks and prove that this program really works. Let the journey begin

What did you like most about The Challenge?

The daily journal entries and forums. It became part of my routine. It was just as important to me as my training and nutrition. Sharing my journey and my experiences through the 12 weeks, reading through and seeing what the guys were going through and how they responded to and overcame certain obstacles, the highs and the lows, the struggles and the triumphs, the tips and tricks they used, the motivation and encouragements, the coaching and advice from the coaches and ambassadors, the 24/7 support within the challenge community is what I liked most about the challenge.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

The nutrition for me was hard especially in the final weeks of the challenge, just with the reduced carbs and calorie deficit, only eating carbs (complex) around my training times. I just felt flat and rundown everyday, hungry all the time, but it wouldn't be a challenge if it was easy. As long as I had the energy to complete my workouts with 100% effort it didn't matter.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

Massive impact. Not only my life, but my family as well. We are more active now than we were before the challenge. I started this challenge with small goals and small expectations. I far exceeded those goals and expectations in the first couple of weeks. Now I'm in a whole new frame of mind. I really want to look into competing and also a career in the health and fitness industry. It's amazing how this 12 week Max's challenge has completely changed my whole perspective on healthy living.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

Nike slogan. Just do it. What's there to think about? You have nothing to lose but the unwanted weight/fat, and everything to gain but the unwanted weight/fat. Lose fat, gain muscle. It's win/win for you. The experience will change you and I'm living proof of that. The only thing holding you back is YOU!

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

The best decision I made in the challenge was making my profile public. It was embarrassing but I had to approach it with a "JUST SHUT UP AND DO IT" mentality. It made me accountable because my profile was out there for all to see. That day1 guy in the profile photo was my drive, so I had to make absolutely sure I looked nothing like that guy by the end of the challenge. I saw that photo everyday I logged on and I made a decision to never look like that again.

    Day84. All I can say is wow. You people are amazing. Well done on completing the challenge. You all killed it. Seeing all the pics blowing up the latest journals page. It's insane. So here's one of me still grinding haha. Still gotta make that paper to pay them bills lol ( more like "to buy my supps" haha ). Can't wait for my challenge to officially finish on Wednesday. So I can have what Mitch Viney was having. The usual routine this morning. 3am rise and grind. Arms session followed by some cardio tonight. Knocking off soon so gotta go prep my dinner. Once again WELL DONE. NOW GO PARTY! I'm outta here.

    Day83. Back and shoulders. 3am rise and grind coz that's how we roll. Solid session this morning. Feeling great. Tired but feeling great. Last workout of the program but I'll keep grinding til Wednesday when I take my final photo. Smashed some cardio tonight so ready for some well earned sleep but before I get outta here I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the regular/daily/weekly journal bloggers for sharing your journey with the rest of us. Thank you for the encouragements, the motivation, the laughs, sharing your struggles and your victories, the good times and the not so good times. It inspired me to keep going, to keep pushing, to keep working, to keep grinding. So thank you because you all helped transform me. Ok I'm outta here.

    Day82. Leg day. The daily 3am grind. So this was my last leg session for the challenge and I decided I was going to give it everything I got. Happy to say I got a new pb on the BB squat. 120kg x 10 for 4 sets super set with BB deadlift 100kg x 12 for 4 sets. Thanks Eric Thomas for the motivation and Bêta pump and creatine for the insane energy this morning. Feeling good today even with the low carbs. My body must've finally adjusted to using my fat stores for energy and the 7 hours sleep worked a treat also. Light cardio tonight after work. The end of the challenge is drawing nearer and so is the end of my shift so I better go finish my job. I'm outta here.

    Day81. Chest arms abs. 3am solid session work. Got up before my alarm because I was that excited to get to the gym , like a child waiting for Christmas lol. so for the last couple of workouts Ive changed from my normal music playlist to listening to Eric Thomas as I mentioned yesterday. This guy just takes my workout to the next level it's like he's right there talking to me, pushing me getting those last few reps out. It's awesome. Anyway I quickly crash and burn after that session. I'm literally just dragging my feet at work all day hoping and praying for no breakdowns. I'm low on carbs but it only for a few more days then I can slowly start adding a little more to my meals from Monday til photo on Wednesday morning. It's 7 o'clock and I'm ready for bed. Hope everyone is still going great. Well done guys we're nearly there woohoo. I'm outta here man.

    Day80. Back and shoulders. Back to work today another week on the grind. Been listening to some Eric Thomas and all I can say is WOW. Can this guy motivate or what. One of the best inspirational/motivational speakers I've ever listened to. So I've added him to my favourites on my playlist. I highly recommend listening to this guy. Good pump today added some shrugs at the end to work the traps coz they've been kind of neglected like my calves lol. Gotta take my photo on Wednesday morning when I get back to Perth and get it all uploaded before the cut off time. I know I'm leaving it late but the bills still gotta get paid and family still gotta be fed so I gotta keep grinding. Wish they could do spray tans and photo shoots at work lol. Ok gotta get to bed. 3am chest arms and abs tomorrow. I'm outta here.

    Day79. Leg day. Swapped legs and back because my lower back has been giving me grief for the past couple of days. Figured I'd give it another day recovery before annihilating it tomorrow lol. Here's a pic of me and this very brave woman who had the unfortunate task of waxing this hairy mammoth lol. I was dreading it all day but after the first couple of painful strips it wasn't too bad. Thanks Kamploy and the Hair and Beauty Baldivis staff, awesome job. Now I can't stop touching myself haha. Sooo smooth. Might have to make it a regular thing now lol. Look what you've done to me Max. Had to wax today as I'm back to work tomorrow and won't have to time to do it when I get back. Ok need to go and prep dinner and tomorrow's breakfast. I'm outta here

    Day78. International chest day arms abs. Started the day with some fasted cardio followed by the omelette and oats breakfast yummm. Great pump today. Nutrition on point today. Soooooo hungry but gotta stay disciplined. Looking forward to having the night time shake with some frozen berries and ice for my dessert made with my new Nutri bullet. Ok off to watch some house rules with the family. I'm outta here.

    Day77. Sabbath Day. Genesis 2:2 So on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Body is well recovered, mind is refreshed, batteries are recharged, Im raring to go tomorrow and so should all of you. 11 weeks down and 1 week to go. 1 day at a time 1 step at a time and before you know it you look back and think woah look how far I've come. Pic of this mornings breakfast omelette, oats, coffee. And I get to eat this again tomorrow, happy days. Hope everyone is going great. Ok good night, gotta go dream about them gains lol.     Day76. Leg day. Was on struggle street today. Early morning fasted cardio followed by afternoon legs session. Felt like I was just going through the motions. Just no energy. So I'm really looking forward to the rest day tomorrow. REst, REfuel, REcover, REfocus, REfresh, REhydrate, REenergise, REcharge....... Can't think of any other words starting with re. then I'll be REady to blast the final week. Date night tonight with my wifey, dinner then movie. Ok gotta go. Me outta here.

    Day75. Back/Shoulders. Today was a battle between the mind and the body. The mind was willing but the body was not. This went on the whole morning. Mind: Come on body let's go smash this session Body: F$&# OFF I'm tired give me a break Mind: Stop being a Pu$&@ and grow some balls. Body: Leave me the F@&$ alone. Back and forth they went til finally they came to an agreement. Body: Ok I will smash out this workout today. But I ain't doing Jack s#/+ after that. Mind: Ok that's a deal. So I'm giving cardio a miss tonight. Just feeling low on energy as I used it all up in the gym, which is priority anyway. So I'll just be lazy for the rest of the day and let my body rest, refuel and recover for legs tomorrow. Ok gotta go coz the couch is calling me lol. I'm outta here.

    Day74. Chest arms abs. Beast pump today. Was firing on all cylinders. My gym just updated all their equipment last week. They've taken the squat rack but haven't replaced it yet so hopefully it's there by Saturday. Had boot camp tonight at Guerrilla Nation in Port Kennedy. Great to see you guys still going strong even with the calorie deficit. We got this boys. Let's bring it home. Ok sleep time. Ready to do it all again tomorrow. Outta here.

    Ummmmmm not sure if I've logged onto Sportsbet.com or my TAB account. You guys a crazy man lol. Now my whole journal routine is all out of whack. MITCH WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!! I'll put 50 burpees on the K town King of swole B. Caddy. And 100 on all the underdogs. Haha. It's those quiet ones hiding in the corner waiting for the final reveal just waiting to shock the whole challenge community with their transformation I'm looking forward to seeing. I just wanted to share my journey with everyone and if I inspired just 1 person to keep chasing their dream then I'll take that as my win. Thanks Mitch and co. I'm truly humbled. Ok back to the journal Day73. Legs. I'm on the freeway heading home while writing this. So good to be home. Legs are shagged.     Day72. Back and shoulders. It's getting harder now to get out of bed in the mornings with the change of weather. Woohoo home tomorrow another week of work done and dusted ready for some quality family time. Back is feeling tight tonight. Just saw a pic of Troy's traps and arms.     Day71. Chest Arms Abs. Intensity this morning was insane. Must've been the melon. Even last night I ran 2 laps around camp which is about 4.5km came back to my room 100 push ups 60 jack knifes some planking to fail. Got to bed about 9 then up at 2 this morning had my apple and peanut butter. 230 betapump and creatine then 3am BEASTMODE. Finished work at 6 went to order my steak at the mess and there they were... Honeydew melon. Done it again dammit. So same again as last night gotta burn all this energy. I need to have a word with kitchen staff. No More Melons at dinner lol. 2 weeks to go guys. Let's get it done. I'm outta here

    Day70. Happy Mother's Day mum. So week 10 is pretty much done. Another 3am session this morning. Was supposed to be light cardio ended up being arms and 50 burpees I had to pay out for the kiwis losing to the kangaroos (vid on Insta 2 part mini series lol). Had a bit of a binge tonight at the mess on the honeydew melon. Couldn't help myself while I was waiting for my steak to be cooked. It's my vice. Honeydew and cantaloupe.I think I probably ate a whole melon. So I'm gonna go for a run now coz I'm pinging off this melon lol. A looooong run. I'm outta here.

    Day69. Blasted the legs this morning. Wow betapump and creatine always takes the workout to another level of BEASTMODE. Maintained 110kg for all 4 sets of the 1st superset. Bloody freezing this morning had to workout in the work jacket to get warm. Kiwis lost last night so gotta pay out my 50 burpees to Jack Medlyn. Hey Ergin glad you liked the apple slices and peanut butter. Your transformation is awesome check out the v taper. Looking swole bro. Blake Caddy you BEAST!     Day68. Mmmmmmm best salad I've made yet. Ingredients. 260g Garden salad (mixed lettuce leaves, cucumber, carrot, red onion, capsicum, tomato), 160g cooked chicken breast shredded, 50g cooked brown rice, 2 x 11g satchets of peanut butter smooth. Mix chicken, rice and PB in one container, then add to garden salad and mix again. Salt and pepper to taste. F 17.8g, C 27.4g, P 58.7g. Calculated with my fitness pal app. Yummm

    Day67. Chest arms abs. 3am solid session this morning. Upper body was just on fire. Now I'm not even half way through my shift and I just want to sleep. No cardio tonight going straight to bed after work. Just need a good 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep and I'll be good to go for 3am back and shoulders tomorrow.     Day65. Back and Shoulders. Another solid session this morning. After the 1st super set exercises I decided to add 3 wide grip pull-ups between each set of the other super sets. which worked out to be about 30+ pull ups and I also added DB shrugs to the last super set making it a Tri set. Happy with the way my back is developing, with the thickness and taper and also delts are getting a bit more fuller and shaping nicely. Back to work tomorrow on the grind for another week. Hopefully won't struggle too much with the calorie deficit. Photo of today's lunch. I call it "Gone in 60 seconds". Looking forward to legs tomorrow night so gotta conserve as much energy as possible throughout the day. Good to see everyone still smashing these last couple of weeks. Ok time to get outta here.

    Day64. Morning chest arms and abs session. Another awesome pump. Effort has been unreal so far for phase3. Family was watching Masterchef tonight I couldn't handle it after 10 minutes as it was making me hungry so took the dogs for a walk. My mind is only focused on one thing now and that's "Final photo." Everything I do from this point on will determine the outcome of this final photo. Nutrition has been solid. My mindset is on "FOCUS" "FOCUS" "FOCUS". Ready to train the house down tomorrow.     Day63. My normal Sunday routine. Went to church this morning to pray to the almighty for some more healing and recovery and the strength and courage to train like a beast for the last 3 weeks of the challenge amen.TYJ.     Day62. Leg day. Wow man smashed out the super sets and Tri sets. Loved the pump today, maybe not so much tomorrow. Hoping to recover well tomorrow and get some solid cardio in. I think I see a hint of abs coming through which is a first ever for me I can't believe it. Now it's time to get the popping. I really need to focus on tightening up my nutrition for these last 3 weeks and just trust the program, keep doing what I'm doing, train hard, eat clean rest and recover well and repeat. THE RESULTS WILL COME. Ok I'm off to take the dogs for a walk. Have a great weekend all. I'm outta here

    Day61. Back and shoulders session this morning. Added some shrugs and DB bent over rows and pull ups for extra. Happy with progress today. Ready to blast legs tomorrow.     Day61. My new pre workout ritual. 1 Apple 1 pkt peanut butter which work outs to be about 10-12g 1 hr before workout. Along with betapump and creatine 20mins before workout. Back and Shoulders "Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go" in my Lil Jon voice.

    Day60. Chest and Shoulders. Has anyone ever tried apple slices with peanut butter? Genius who ever thought of it.yummm. This was my 5am pre workout snack coz I can't train on an empty stomach. Good solid session today. Managed to up the weights on chest trisets 35 DB floor press, 25 DB incline rotating grip. 20 DB flat bench flys. I swear it felt like my arms were gonna explode on the arms super sets. Loving the beta pump and intraboost. Changed up the cardio tonight went down to boot camp with Guerrilla Nation in Port Kennedy for a bit of a push and extra motivation . Got a whole lot more than I bargained for. Talk about oxygen deficiency. Lungs were working at 100% capacity tonight. Saturday is coming around a bit too fast for my liking coz that means we'll be blasting legs again. Yay. Hope everyone is recovering fast and well and getting them recovery supps in. Rest up guys you gonna need.     Day59. Leg day hmmmmm. I think one word pretty much sums up my thoughts on phase 3 Legs. BRUTAL. Endure the pain now to reap the reward waiting at the finish line. I guess we can take comfort in the fact that we're all feeling the pain together. I am wrecked. time now is 1030 Perth time. Good to be home with the family after a long week. Push-ups then bed, get to sleep in a bit too. I'll finish my journal entry with a quote from my favourite Irishman. "I take inspiration from everyone and everything.     Day58. Back and shoulders. Get in the gym this morning and someone's broken the lat pull down machine last night. Aaarrrggghh. Gym equipment is falling apart up here. Managed to improvise and get the workout done using a different cable machine. So hungry today even after my meals I'm counting down the hours to the next meal. one more sleep then home tomorrow to my family.     Day57. 3am session for the final phase of the challenge. Smashed out some solid sets today. It was kind of weird trying to find the right weights to complete the sets. Too light then I feel I didn't work hard enough. Too heavy then I couldn't complete the set. But I managed to find a good balance and I can work to improve off of that for the next time. The body is definitely feeling it today. It's saying "WTF WAS THAT BRO!" I said " THAT IS THE BEGINNING OF PHASE3 BEASTMODE" lol. Goodnight all, I'm outta here.

    Day56. That's 8 weeks and the passion and determination is as strong, if not stronger than it was at day1. This is the first time since high school I've been under 100kg which was back in 97. Still pinching myself. The next 4 weeks is gonna make me or break me so I'm just gonna give it everything I got. Just got told this morning again by my work colleagues that I look gaunt and sick And need to eat more. haha I just laugh at those comments and they just keep adding fuel to the fire. I guess they're just so used to seeing me fat lol. Anyway today was supposed to be cardio I decided to do 1 set of every excercise for phase 3 with minimal rest, so full body workout which was refreshing and a good idea when you got the gym all to yourself. Ready to turn on #beastmode tomorrow morning with the new workout. Ok gotta go chase dem gains and get them push-ups out the way. Have a great week 9 guys. I'm outta here.

    Day55. Started with my final legs workout bringing me to the end of phase 2. Managed 2 PBs this morning. Barbell front squats 100kg x6, x4, x3, x3, x4 and sumo deadlifts 160kg x4 2 sets. Busy day at work today with a breakdown so our crew had to split, some days some nights. Managed to get all my meals in. I think I over did it with the cantaloupe/rockmelon. When I eat one piece I just keep going. I just love the stuff I could eat it all day. I felt bad so I went for a run tonight around camp 2 laps which is about 4.4km and threw in some push-ups and sit-ups . Really need to start tightening up the nutrition for the last four weeks. Will post my week8 photo and weight tomorrow seen some really awesome week8 results guys WOW I gotta lift my game. Gotta go dream about getting dem gains so I'm outta here!

    Day54. woke this morning at 230 and straight onto the floor and smashed out some push-ups for the push up challenge. 3am arms session followed by a 12hr shift. Figured I'd do the fitness test for my cardio results weren't the best but small progress is still progress. 3am legs tomorrow so I better get some rest. I'm outta here.

    Day53. Almost at the end of week 8 and then starting on the new program. Finally got my results for my body composition scan 12% body fat. No fricken way! I can't believe it. I'm really excited for the next 4 weeks to see how much more body fat I can lose. I'm in the best shape of my life and I think it's safe to say "YES IM A GYM JUNKIE!" I'm addicted and proud. Ok bedtime I better get outta here.

    Day50. Late log today. Had to fast for 4 hrs from lunch to 4 because I had my body composition tests done today. Will get results tomorrow to see where I'm at for week 8. Wish I had done it for week1. Got to the gym around 630 tonight to smash some chest. Got the 50s up tonight 3 sets of 8. Happy with that effort. But then that took its toll on the other exercises as I couldn't go as heavy but I went to absolute fail with almost some gym fail moments lol. I love saying one of The Rock's quotes over and over in my head. "Be humble. Be hungry. And ALWAYS BE THE HARDEST WORKER IN THE ROOM". As you can see I'm the only worker in the room. Gym to myself.     Day49. Went to church today to pray for more gains and for faster recovery. Just a light cardio run this morning helped my brother in law move furniture for the rest of the afternoon. Good recovery day and ready to smash week 8 out of the park. Get a bit of MKR in before bed. Body scan tomorrow to see where I'm at. Looking forward to that. Ok I'm outta here.

    Day48. Still can't do oats for breakfast? Then try this. 50g rolled oats 100g banana 100g berries 1 scoop of lean ( I use vanilla ) 4-6 cubes of ice Water. Blend this bad boy up and consume before a monster leg session. Gonna need it. Happy leg day guys.

    Day47. Arms session this afternoon. Felt tired all day today til I got to the gym. had some beta pump and it felt like the veins in my arms were about to explode. felt great. awesome sets today. super sets, Tri sets, drop sets. Got home and still had some energy to burn so I got into the kitchen cupboards and pantry after dinner and done a massive spring clean and reorganise the shelves. Happy wife happy life.     Day46. So I get to the gym this morning, pull up to the car park only to realise I've left my pre workout on the kitchen bench back home, Aaarrrrggghh. I go to the cafe to get me a double espresso and it's closed AAAAAARRRRRGGHH. So I then I remember the motivation thread I was reading the night before in the forum and read some quotes that get me pumped and manage to get through my workout. So when you got no pre workout, read some motivational quotes still gets you amped for your workout oh and good music. Shoulders were on fire today. Saving arms for tomorrow because arms deserve their own day lol. Ok gotta go watch carpool karaoke with my wife. Outta here

    Day45. Home sweet home. My fuel to start the day. I got to sleep in this morning which was awesome feeling refreshed and ready for a heavy back session. I've been adding a couple of songs to the workout playlist every now and then.     Day44. Legs. I remember 6 weeks ago I dreaded, I hated, I feared doing legs. my excuse to not do legs was always "I do legs everyday carrying around this big frame" or "my legs are already big let's do chest instead". Or there would be guys half my size squatting double what I could and leg pressing some crazy numbers, so to save myself from embarrassment yep, I'd skip leg day. Now I don't know if I'm losing my mind, but now, I absolutely love leg day. It's changed my whole mindset when it comes to training. I used to compare myself with other guys in the gym and always try to lift heavier than them, have better form, squat deeper etc. But now, I only compare myself with the day1 me. I compete with the me from the week before, trying to lift heavier and be better than the me from the week before. Because at the end of the day it's all about building the best version of myself and that's the whole reason why I started this journey. This realisation, It's all thanks to leg day. Can't wait for Saturday lol. Photo is 6 week growth. #beardlife #caveman. It's good to finally be home with my family. I'm outta here.

    Day43. International chest day. Smashed out some good sets this morning. Some idiot broke the 50kg DBs so had to make do with the 45s. Still got a good burn though 4 sets x 10 of 45s. Done cardio tonight. 20 min rower Hiit 2 min rest 1 min work. Treadmill 10mins then finished with abs. Home tomorrow can't wait to see my family and get outta here.

    Day42. So yesterday the Warriors lost to Manly and I had to do 50 burpees and this was after legs in the morning. So today was supposed to be light cardio I decided to do 30 on the treadmill Hiit 1min level 14 2min level 7. Felt I could hit level 16 after a 20 minutes then all of a sudden SYSTEM OVERLOAD. Talk about momentum killer. Can't believe we made it to the half way point of the challenge . Some people say we're over the hump. I'm only just getting started. So I'm stepping it up another level this week and if you're reading this "you should too". Have an awesome week 7 and may you be blessed with plenty of gains. I'm outta here.

    Day40. Arms session this morning. Good solid workout. I'll get some cardio in tonight after work. Feeling good.     Day37. I swapped legs with back today to give my legs another day to recover. Introduced doing 3 pull ups in between all sets to really activate my lats. Also threw in deadlifts to the workout. Will get some cardio in tonight. Fly out to work tomorrow for another week on the grind. I've seen some great results so far keep up the great work. Gotta pick up the kids so I'm OUTTA HERE.

Got mine and wifeys supps posted today just in time too because I was running low. First time trying the betapump which done just that. Gave me a beta pump.     Day30. Legs phase 2. Trying to get a feel for the new exercises like sumo deadlifts and the bb hack squat. First time doing these exercises so I'll just keep practicing on form rather than weight. Still managed a good solid hour. Run out of time on the last calf exercise because I had to go get ready for work. I'll hit these stairs at work tonight and get another good burn. 108 steps to the top 10 laps. #stairwaytogainz.     Day25. Got to bed around 7 this morning after night shift woke at 2pm feeling refreshed had some oats before hitting the gym for back and happy to say I got another PB today. I managed 2 sets of 10 pull ups unassisted. I couldn't believe it happy days.     Day24. So this morning I decided to go to the gym and try Les Mills body attack class for cardio. Haven't breathed that hard in a long time. My lungs were screaming for air but I kept pushing. That class is intense bad enough I was the only guy there lol. Had to represent. Flew back to work today and straight on the grind 12 hour shift. still trying to eat every 3 hours. Hopefully works quiet tonight with no breakdowns.

    Day18. Don't know what it was today but I just felt like crap. Dropped the kids off to school then straight to the gym for back. Energy levels were low and just felt crap because my training partner failed me today. I have her with me for all my workouts but today she just wouldn't respond.     Day 17. Rest day today ( more like restless). Really wanted to hit the gym hard today but the Wifey said stay home so I blitz the cardio today 30 min circuit. 9 exercises 45 sec/15 sec rest. 3 rounds 1 minute rest between round. High knees Mountain climbers Squat jumps Bicycle crunches Skipping ( with my invisible skipping rope haha) Push ups Alternating lunges Burpees Plank. My lungs were screaming after the 1st round. Then jumped in the pool to cool off and do some laps breaststroke. Nutrition was solid today. Just wanted to say a shout out to Ryan Hamill. Bro you can add your name to that list of beasts.     Day 16. Tried to blast legs today and push through the hamstring strain it was still a bit tight . Still haven't reached any PBs this week. Hopefully on back day I can. Legs routine: 30 mins stationary bike heart rate rise 155 and fall 119 BB Squats 100 x 10 (4 sets) Deadlifts 100 x 10 120 x 8 120 x 8 120 x 6 grip failed. Needed my wraps. Leg extensions went light because hamstring went tight. 2 plates x 15 (4 sets) 3 second hold at the top slow release. Finished of with 100 crunches. Cardio tonight. BOOM

    Day 13. 20 min run this morning. Packed my lunch and dinner and snacks for the day trip to Margaret river for a wedding. All was going well right up until they served dinner. That's when it all went downhill. the food was just too good to resist and in that moment of weekness I gave in. On a positive I stayed away from the alcohol all night. So I'm just gonna get back on the horse and just keep going after that little stumble lol. Tomorrow I will train the house down.     Day 12. Was having a good day until I watched my beloved Warriors go down to the Broncos tonight. Smashed out shoulders tri's abs this morning. Got a PB on db shoulder press: 35kg x 10 (2 sets).     Day 10. Cardio this morning had my first les mills class then on the bike for 30 mins Hiit. Light cardio and abs this evening then helped push Wifey through her full body workout. I don't take pre workout but on leg day I down a double espresso shot 10 minutes before my workout and that gets me pinging. Meals prepped for the rest of the week had to buy a small chest freezer off gumtree coz the fridge freezer run outta room lol. Nutrition has been solid from day 1 so really happy about that.     Day 8. Weighed in this morning for a loss of 2 kg for the first week. Started the morning with chest and biceps workout with 10 push ups between each chest excercise and also added some extra exercises for biceps Tomorrow I will be prepping meals for the rest of the week.     Day 7. We're at the end of week 1. Had a cardio session this morning and done the fitness test again this time in the proper order with 1 minute rest between exercises. Signs of improvement over the course of the week fitness wise but there's still areas I need to work on. Nutrition was on point again today.     Day 5. Woohooo today was fly out day. Had to do shoulders in the morning because I was flying home in the afternoon I was surprised by my energy levels because I absolutely demolished my shoulders and tri's. Maybe because I knew I was going home. So now the real test begins because I have to cook my own meals for the next few weeks til I go back to work. Shopping tomorrow for my sups and protein powder. So good to be home with my family. Get to sleep in tomorrow too.

    Day 4. Well today was a challenge to try and not skip a meal. Woke up at 3 am for cardio then straight into the mess for breakfast. Oats and shake. Work was hectic. My line of work is physically demanding as a fixed plant fitter. Trying to fit meals into your day during a shutdown at work is almost impossible but I did it. Back workout was great even though I was drained from another 12 hr shift on the tools. Just suck it up, get in there, get it done and get out. BEASTMODE.

    Day 3. Was asked to stay back at work for an extra 2 days. Today was hot. WA sun just draining the energy out of me. Got in two cardio sessions in today am/pm. Nutrition has been on point so far. Getting the funny looks when workmates see me weighing my food lol. Had to improvise on dinner as there was no fish or sweet potato in the mess tonight so had chicken brown rice a little peanut butter and salad. Two sleeps till I go home. Come at me Day 4. Laterz.

    Leg day aaarrrggghh. Gonna feel it tomorrow during cardio. Is it just me or does everyone feel like throwing up after doing legs. Had to force the protein shake down and keep it down. Anyway I've also decided that during this challenge I'm gonna grow a beard for the next 12 weeks so here's me with no beard. Bring on day 3. I'm out.

    Day 2. Good morning. Just finished the fitness test this morning and 20 min walk on the treadmill for my cardio session. I wasn't sure what the rest period was between exercises so I rested 1 minute between each exercise. I started with push ups, crunches, burpees, lunges, jump squats and finished with the plank. Breakfast time. Have a good day all.

    15 Burpees
    50 Push Ups
    42 Crunches
    28 Alternate Lunges
    80 Plank
    24 Jump Squats

    Day 1 done and dusted. Smashed out Chest and Biceps session. Looking at doing the fitness test in the morning before annihilating legs in the evening. Hope everyone had a good first day. Goodnight

    Day 1. So here I go. 3 am got up cardio session. 20mins on the stationary bike level 15 fat burner program. 20 mins treadmill walk 2 mins run 1 min. I work away so I don't have any Max's Lean protein so im just using my Gold standard protein til I get some. Chest and Biceps tonight after work. Feeling good. Lets go get dem gainz. #beastmode
