Lean - Intermediate
A friend at work did the challenge and it inspired me to give it a go. I desperately want to improve my body composition and i'm sick and tired of half doing things. I want to see what I am capable of achieving in 12 weeks. I decided that this challenge would be the perfect platform in order to cut out my excuses, laziness, ect... I have tried this type of challenge before and did not complete it, therefor I am content to make sure I give it my best for the whole challenge.Lets do this!!!!!!
There are so many things I liked about the max challenge! But, definitely one thing I liked about the challenge was having a direct plan to follow. Having a plan to follow and it all being set out for you was really encouraging and easy to follow, as long as I stuck to my guns and trusted the process.Additionally being part of an supportive and big name community was enjoyable to be apart of :)
Detoxing my body from processed sugar and junk food. The cravings were very hard at the beginning but once i got used to it the momentum built and I gained confidence in my ability to trust myself and stick the the process. Another challenging aspect of it all which affected me was overthinking and second guessing myself when It came to my eating, I was overthinking and causing myself so much stress over the smallest things.. However I did learn to overcome this throughout the challenge and I truly believe I have a much stronger mind frame than ever before and have learned to trust in my own ability and the process of action!
The challenge has impacted my life in so many positive ways not only physically but mentally. I feel that this challenge has provided me with the perfect stepping stone to go on and complete further fitness goals of mine and mainly has demonstrated to myself that anything is possible if your put your mind to it and trust yourself. I feel good, I feel great, I feel fantastic! I can honestly say that once I got into a routine with the healthy eating and exercise schedule I felt so happy and satisfied that I was giving it my all to achieve my goal.As well I could not be more proud of the results I have achieved throughout the challenge and It gives me so much pride in myself. I love looking in the mirror and seeing the way my muscles look :) My self esteem has also been boosted 110% and I am allot more confident in every aspect of my life hands down! I have proven to myself what hard work and dedication/commitment can achieve. It has affected my family positively as well which makes me happy because I feel like a good role model, they are all trying to make healthier choices and live more active lifestyles. Overall I am so bloody happy with everything right now, feeling so good about my achievement.
I would say to people that if this is something you wanna do then JUST DO IT! Because honestly life is just far to short and you should do what you wanna do even if it is challenging. Not gonna lye, but the process is definitely a challenge and its not easy, but you can do it you need to believe in yourself and trust yourself :) The max challenge is perfect because you will receive ongoing support from the Max challenge team and community and they are all there to help you achieve your goals! If you wanna get in shape this challenge is awesome and they provide you with all the information your need to achieve your goals. Honestly go for it ! Because the sense of achievement and pride you have completing the challenge is unbelievable and it feels so good! Once your into it and made your mind up you will smash it.
This is not the end for me, but more a beginning. I am so proud of how far I have come and I am looking forward to achieving more goals in my life! The main thing I would like to add is that I did this challenge for myself and for myself only, of course your family and friends support helps! But ultimately I can look at myself in the mirror and think "you did it" and I can be proud of what I have achieved :) Absolutely over the moon and would encourage anyone to do this max challenge, because it is a life changer.
