Reason to start The Challenge

Looking to start a career in the fitness industry and need to look, feel and act the part!
Have done the challenge previously with good results and hoping to take it to another level this time.

What did you like most about The Challenge?

The accountability aspect. The challenge kept me accountable to my food and training plan.
I enjoyed the different training plans available this time too.
Having a nutrition plan available to look at meant I was able to plan meals in advance and wasnt caught out too often.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

I find the nutrition side of things to be the hardest part generally especially when there are social events on and plenty of food and drink around.
I was happy not to stray off my plan throughout the challenge.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

The first time I attempted the challenge was a couple years ago now as I wanted to get in shape and start training again. From that point things snowballed for me and led me to completing my personal trainer qualifications.
I'm happy to say I'm now employed full time as a PT and love it.
If it wasn't for maxs challenge I'd never had made the step to doing something I find rewarding.
So thank you to the team at Maxs for giving me the opportunity to change my life!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

I'd say that if you're considering taking up thr challenge next time round and are debating it for whatever reason; take the plunge and commit.
The challenge can open a whole new world to people that they never thought was possible.
It's as simple as following the program and watching the results. There's a great support network around you and people going through the extact same emotions to help you out.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I was disappointed to get sick on the final day for submission so the workout photo shoot I had planned didnt eventuate and I had to get creative at home.
It's always a sense of achievement come that last few days of the challenge when you know you've put the hard yards in and can see the results!
