Build Strength & Size
I have become bored of my same old training habits and have never had a diet in my life, (honestly have very poor eating habits). Coming back from a month long holiday in Europe along with football season finishing, it's the perfect time for me to do Max's challenge. I am interested to see what I could look like with 3 months of tough training and dieting, and to see if mentally I can cope with the challenge. As a fifo worker I want to see how realistic a program like this is for someone who spends more time at work then home.
The programs really motivated me to build strength and size, the variations in movements kept it interesting and overall the progressive overload worked really well.
Hardest thing about the challenge was staying true to the diet. It's pretty hard to stay clean around this time of year when there are birthdays, drinks all the time, bbqs etc. But overall I stayed pretty clean.
Overwhelmingly positive. I have always gone to the gym and loved lifting weights but never eaten healthy. The change in diet has changed my body a lot, recovering better, building muscle faster and cutting fat.A lot of people in my life have noticed the changes too.
Give it a shot, there will be something in the challenge that will help you become a better you.
First time doing one of these Body comp analysis tests. Quite interesting results although I'm not believing the BF%.
Looking foward to doing another one towards the end of the challenge to see differences I can't pick up in the photos.
Overall, average month with birthdays and holidays impacting the dieting, but continuing to train hard and gaining strength across all the big lifts. Excited to see how November goes.
