Reason to start The Challenge

I participated in the challenge last year and want to go at it again this year. As much as I enjoyed last year's challenge, I feel as though it's a great opportunity to get healthy again after the always big Christmas festivities as I know I have lost a lot of strength, motivation and definitely the nutrition side since.

I've always been energetic and fit through surfing and the gym. However, feel as though I need more of a goal to aim towards, something to strive for to give me the motivation I need. This way I've got something to try and achieve day in day out.

What did you like most about The Challenge?

I really enjoyed reading the forums, as they were stacked with so much information to help with training, nutrition and motivation all from the coaches and everyone doing the challenge. Also loved the goal of knowing your in a challenge and trying to strive for a goal each day, and that everything you do has a difference on the end outcome.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

I believe I found the nutrition to be the hardest part of the challenge. During the week wasn't the issue, as on weekends there was always an event taking place. Knowing that you had to be strict with your nutrition regardless of where you are and what your doing otherwise you could throw away a lot of hard work.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

It has made me a lot more healthier and fitter obviously, ha! I feel it has impacted my life in a more personal way, understanding more the person of who I am, and how if I put my mind to something, I can actually achieve it! Feeling more confident, energetic, happier and things I can't even describe!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

That whether you feel like your in a rut, or feel on top of the world, this is something not to miss, giving you the opportunity to be a better you! To go for it!

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

As far as this challenge has ended, can't wait until the next chapter!

    Just cruising between now and bed time. Setting up my workout for the morning, which will be Back. While getting ready to read some PCPP (PC Power Play) - Computer games and what not! Morning will consist of 4 exercises, 2 of those exercises being super sets, 1 being 3x drop set and 1 being 4x normal working sets. Always a good workout!! Only 3 and half weeks left. My Phone camera is working as it wasn't for quite some time, so will be trying to put up as many posts as possible between now and the end of the challenge! Nice little picture of my Intraboost (which arrived today), my GPS Ripcurl Surf Watch (Gotta keep up with my surf times) and my PCPP mag! Yewwww!!

    Good Leg workout this morning. Training Hard, as of watching Max's week 5 message about training, I'm feeling pretty stoked as I always try to train harder every workout, trying to push past every workout and build apon each workout. Today was that day, with Legs being my hardest body part to train, I feel I had pushed myself further then I normally do. Anyway, some nice BCAA's and NAGG after my workout followed up by a protein shake in water, with Oats / Greek yogurt 45 mins after that! Great start to the day, 6:10am - 7am workout times. 4 diferent exercises, 4 sets for every exercise and 3 of those exercises are supersets. Quite a burn throughout and feeling pretty exhausted after!! Now time to rest and grow, off to work in a hour or so! Then Easter holidays, 4 days off, just need to make sure I keep up with the good nutrition! Yew!!

    First post, Leg session this morning. Good workout, highlight was most likely Hack squats followed by leg extensions (Giant set). Shake after the workout with rec. supps. Then some oats and greek yoghurt for breakfast. Good start to the day!
