Reason to start The Challenge

In 2014 I completed the MAX'S Challenge for my 40th Birthday and was thrilled with my results. For my 45th Birthday I'd like to once again give this 12 week program my all and improve my fitness, physique and positive headspace.

What did you like most about The Challenge?

To once again be involved and fully committed towards improving my health and wellbeing. Striving for small improvements each week whilst building confidence after conquering minor difficulties and challenges. Regaining a sense of self-control towards nutrition and the amount consumed. Having the ability to document my transformation journey through the MAXS journal to provide a motivational platform for myself in years to come.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

*Having the ability to always remain in a comfortable and relaxed manner when attending events or gatherings that would have minimal healthy nutritional options. *That some family or friends may misinterpret my polite refusal of alcohol and certain foods as being rude or withdrawn. *Feeling the need to explain and discuss my reasoning behind certain refusals and decisions. I have however improved in dealing with these situations from the previous Challenge.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

The Challenge has had an enormous impact on my life and will continue to do so. It firstly provided me with tools to alter, implement and begin making heathier decisions about nutrition and training. It then provided further information on how to pursue a healthier lifestyle in an easy and uncomplicated manner whilst constantly providing new and interesting content. The Challenge provides the ability for one to regain their confidence and pride whilst fuelling their motivation to strive for further self-improvement, regardless of age. My children have also been able to witness what can be achieved by hard work and determination allowing me to set a terrific example.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

If you prepare and fully commit to this well-balanced nutrition and training program you’re guaranteed a life changing return."The Challenge is like taking someone to see an amazing movie. I’ve experienced it and know what a brilliant ending it is. However, you’ll have to sit through the whole show to understand and fully appreciate the story line!"

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

Completing the Challenge for a second time is just as rewarding and motivational as the first experience. It provided me with the realisation that this program can be completed providing amazing results regardless of age.
Once again I have fully committed and given this 12 Week program my all. I have trained every single day and refrained from any temptation in the form of food or alcohol. I’ve used all the MAXS website recommendations and past content to implement my efforts and am thrilled yet again with the results. I have crossed the finish line a winner regardless of the outcome and looking forward to setting future self-improvement goals to conquer. A BIG thank you to my wife Sandra for her on-going support, love and help throughout the Challenge and my daughters Tanaya and Ashlyn for their encouraging comments whilst viewing my progress photos each week.
