There are so many aspects of the challenge that I liked but what stands out in my mind the most is that it taught me self-discipline and persistence.I had an absolute ball doing the Max's Challenge. I have learnt so much about myself and my limits, and how to push past the limits I thought I had.I am now the healthiest, fittest and probably the happiest I've ever been in my life. I'm looking forward to a long and healthy future.

Reason to start The Challenge

So i can fit into smaller clothes and look good.

What did you like most about The Challenge?

There are so many aspects of the challenge that I liked but what stands out in my mind the most is that it taught me self-discipline and persistence.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

Taking the first step to train in public. I was very self conscious and very uncomfortable exercising in front of other people. I felt like everyone was watching me.
Then I realised that everyone was at the gym for their own reasons just as I was.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

Before the challenge I was accepting the down hill slope of getting older and putting on weight. I was miserable and depressed thinking to myself this is part of life the end is near and I can't do anything about it. I was wrong.
I am now the healthiest, fittest and probably the happiest I've ever been in my life. I'm looking forward to a long and healthy future.
I thought the end was near..... The end can wait!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

All it takes is to get up an hour early..
Before you know it, the challenge will be over.
Your only regret will be not doing the challenge..

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I had an absolute ball doing the Max's Challenge. I have learnt so much about myself and my limits, and how to push past the limits I thought I had.
I am so proud of myself with what I have achieved from the challenge.
I have met so many people within the gym which I class as friends who have helped support me and each other.
