Reason to start The Challenge

Competed in the February Challenge and was happy to make top fifty. With this challenge I want to improve my own personal results and get myself to where i want to be

What did you like most about The Challenge?

I loved the training, and the sense of discipline The Challenge gave me. I also love the fact that my body has transformed in ways I never thought possible.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

Halfway point meltdown, which I had my first Challenge also. It only lasted a few days, but I kept nutrition and training at 100%.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

It has definitely given me a sense of achievement, and the belief in myself that I can achieve whatever I put my mind to. I have been training on and off for over 25 years, but had not had any significant changes to my body. It wasn't until I followed the Max's Challenge nutrition plan that my physique started to change and grow the way I had always wanted it to. I look back and feel that I wasted so many years by not factoring in the impact of nutrition as part of my training.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

If you are thinking about it, do it. 12 weeks seems a long time, but in reality it isn't, and if you commit to it 100% it really is life changing. You do have to be single-minded and make it and yourself a priority, but it is so worth it.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I was absolutely blown away when I saw the end of Challenge pictures, especially the ones of my back (which I never get to see myself). I had no idea that I looked like that, and I am absolutely thrilled. This has spurred me on to keep at it as I am finally getting the results I have always wanted.
