Before you can start to transform your body and life, and before starting the Challenge, it is important to establish exactly what you want to achieve. While some things such as work and family commitments are important and unavoidable, there is a big difference between making rare exceptions and routinely letting your workouts or nutrition slip down the priority list. So in order to get your mindset right you need to set some goals and ensure they are S.M.A.R.T. - specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely. Have a specific idea for where you want to be at the end of the Challenge. Break your big goal up into a series of shorter measurable mini goals so that not only are you feeling a sense of achievement along the way but you can measure your progress as you go. Write it down, tell family and friends and surround yourself with positive reinforcement to help make you accountable, encouraged and on track.
