Nathan had just been in hospital for a month due to an enlarged heart that was only functioning at 20%... "The most difficult challenge was changing my diet for the better. The first three weeks I really had a constant battle, resisting the desire to head to the drive thru on the way home from a long day at work, or to grab something quick and unhealthy for lunch." As Jason progressed he stuck to his training program diligently, but was able to tweak it to suit his fitness levels as the Challenge went on. "Following a set program was always the backbone to my training, and I just added a few more exercises here or there or changed the rep ranges to get what I thought would benefit me the most."
