Over Tuna straight from the can, try making Tuna Patties!

Ingredients:

  • 1 x 425g can Tuna in springwater
  • 1 whole egg + 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1/2 cup oats or oatmeal
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1 red onion, chopped finely
  • 2 Tbsp parsley
  • 1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method:

STEP 1: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Use your hands to form into patties to preferred size.

STEP 2: Cook on lightly oiled fry-pan for approximately 6-7 minutes each side, until golden and cooked through.
